At Engaged Companies, our journey has been shaped by a deep exploration of the explosive combination of Capitalism, Faith, Morality, and Individual Purpose. Over my first 20 years in business, I immersed myself in understanding how these forces intersect—not just in theory, but in practice. I witnessed firsthand the successes we achieved in our companies, but more importantly, the profound impact on the lives and families of those who were part of Engaged Companies. At the same time, like many others, I have been appalled by the lack of leadership in America that can truly make this nation great. This realization has led me to begin another chapter at Engaged Companies—one dedicated to making an even greater impact on the lives of others and the country I hold dear. At Engaged Companies, we believe that America’s strength lies in the powerful combination of capitalism, personal accountability, and a steadfast moral compass. We are committed to proving that business can be a force for good—driving economic growth while cultivating a culture of integrity, responsibility, and excellence. Within the walls of Engaged Companies, we consider our culture THE SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT ASPECT OF OUR COMPANY. It is the foundation of every thought, decision, and action we take. It is the binding thread that connects each company to one another and keeps us pointed in the same direction, toward a common purpose of creating a life lived well. Our mission is our true north and our culture encapsulates how we get there. Our culture is also a fragile thing that must be nurtured and protected so that it doesn’t morph into something unrecognizable as we continue to grow.
